5 Days Gorillas and White Water Rafting Adventure combines gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda with an Island Escape on the Nile at Wild waters Lodge additionally the magnificent white water rafting experience on the River Nile in the Eastern district of Jinja, Uganda. Jinja is famously renown for the source of the River Nile – the World’s longest River serving Uganda, Sudan and Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea
The Adventure encompasses the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will have an encounter with the habituated families of mountain gorilla.
Day 1: Arrival
On arrival at the airport, our waiting driver guide will pick you and transfer guests to the hotel. Depending on the arrival time, there lots of adventurous optional day activities like a visit to Ngamba chimpanzee Island, Uganda wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), Kampala or Entebbe city tour and a Visit to Mamba Swamp in search for the shoebill at a subsidised rate. Day 2: Transfer to Jinja and Island Escape
After breakfast, you will drive to the Eastern town of Jinja for your magnificent Uganda Adventurous experience (Water Rafting). This journey will take you through Mabira forest, a tropical rain forest in central Uganda. The journey supplements it with verdant views of lush tea and sugarcane plantations plus several roadside markets. The drive is between 2hrs and 30 minutes. Have lunch and proceed to the congregation spot of the experienced white water rafting crew. For the rest of the day Escape to an Island located on a private island in a tropical forest on River Nile. The Island introduces you to Wild Waters Lodge with breathtaking views and luxury style. From the lodge, nature whispers with splashes of rapids of River Nile and songs of various birds. The rooms are very spacious, with wooden floors and open sky bath tubs at the decks.

DAY 3– Transfer from Jinja -Entebbe Airport -Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you early in the morning from Jinja to Entebbe Airport to catch your afternoon domestic Flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The flight takes you to Kihihi Air strip for the East and Buhoma Sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Our already waiting guide will be ready and eager to receive and transfer you to your lodge or Camp. As you get closer to the renowned Bwindi Forest National park, you will notice a change in vegetation incredibly dense. This is home to the Mountain gorillas that are considered by UNESCO as one of few survivors of the ice age period. Check in, and unwind as you wait for lunch to be served .Depending on the client’s interest there optional activities visiting Batwa: These are pygmies whose life fully depended on Bwindi forest for survival till the early 90s when conservation of the mountain gorilla habitat by the government became a reason to relocate them. To protect some of their leftover cultural activities, they demonstrate their ancient life to visitors through telling amazing stories and unique traditional performances

DAY 4 – Gorilla tracking
Today starts with an early morning breakfast, carry on to the ranger station for briefing we unveil the forest with an early morning show up for the long exceptional gorilla trekking day. It is dream come true for most travelers and the Highlight for this adventurous experience. Starts at 7:45 am with registration at the park headquarters and then joining other trackers for a briefing about the Dos and the Don’ts during your Gorilla Tracking safari. As you immense into the forest in company of the professional rangers in search for the Giant Apes which in habit this forest expect to view numerous primates like baboons, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys, grey tailed mangabey, black and white colobus monkeys the list is endless. Trailing through the thick creepers and undergrowth in search for the gentle creatures (Gorillas). Unpredictably the trek may take half an hour to 8 hours depending on how far our Gorilla Cousins nested the previous day. Finding them you are privileged to spend 1 hour with the Uganda’s star attraction “the gorillas”. After the trek, return to the camp/Lodge and relax for the rest of the afternoon as you enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding area.
Recommended clothes to wear while on the track include: Waterproof Hiking Boots, Long-Trousers-Long-Sleeved Shirts, Tough Gardening Gloves, a hat Light Rain-Jacket, Sweater and Walking sticks will be provided for you at the briefing point. DAY 5 – Transfer to Kihihi- Entebbe Airport. After breakfast transfer to Kihihi Airstip to catch your Domestic flight back to Entebbe Airport and then a connecting flight back home Or Depending on your arrangement a hotel may be reserved for the Night.
