Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival
On arrival at the airport, our waiting driver guide will pick you and transfer guests to the hotel. Depending on the arrival time, there lots of adventurous optional day activities like a visit to Ngamba chimpanzee Island, Uganda wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), Kampala or Entebbe city tour and a Visit to Mamba Swamp in search for the shoebill at a subsidised rate. DAY 2: Fly Entebbe-Kasese and Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you early in the morning from your overnight hotel and proceed to the Airport to catch your domestic Flight to Kibale National Park. The flight takes you to Kasese airstrip .Our already waiting guide will be ready to receive and transfer you to your lodge or Camp. A Journey filled with stunning views of the Rwenzori Ranges leads you to Kibale National Park. Check in and relax at lodge as you await for an afternoon interesting activity.
Early Lunch and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts of Chimpanzee trekking. The primate playground, Kibale Forest has the highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Imagine having an incomplete safari without tracking the closest to man creature in relation to DNA sharing of 98.7%. The park is home to over 13 primate species that can be easily seen during the tracking like vervet, red-tailed, l’Hoest’s and blue monkey, black-and-white colobus, olive baboon, Ugandan red colobus, and Uganda mangabey. Other mammals like elephants and buffalo spread around the forest, and other creatures expected are giant forest hog, warthog, bushpig, bushbuck, blue, red, and Peter’s duiker. The park provides home to the world’s largest population of the endangered red colobus monkey. It is an important stronghold for Uganda mangabey, a rare national endemic.
After the Chimpanzee trek, head out for a wetland walk in the nearby Bigodi Village expect to see several bird species, wonderful views and some animals.

DAY 3: Transfer from Kibale Nationla Park-Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by Road
After breakfast we will drive to Bwindi National Park. Crossing several Rivers that originate from Mountain Rwenzori as you go through Kasese district .The drive takes you through Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park famous for tree climbing lions. Having chances of spotting some wild game as we drive through this Savannah dominated national park. Continue to Bwindi through the rolling and well cultivated hills creating a beautiful scenery of the journey a head of you. En-route lunch arriving in the late afternoon. Check in and relax at the camp/lodge

DAY 4: Gorilla Tracking
Today starts with an early morning breakfast, carry on to the ranger station for briefing we unveil the forest with an early morning show up for the long exceptional gorilla trekking day. It is a dream come true for most travelers and the Highlight for this adventurous experience. Starts at 7:45 am with registration at the park headquarters and then joining other trackers for a briefing about the Dos and the Don’ts during your Gorilla Tracking safari. As you immense into the forest in company of the professional rangers in search for the Giant Apes which in habit this forest expect to view numerous primates like baboons, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys, grey tailed mangabey, black and white colobus monkeys the list is endless. Trailing through the thick creepers and undergrowth in search for the gentle creatures (Gorillas). Unpredictably the trek may take 1 hour to 8 hours depending on how far our Gorilla Cousins nested the previous day. Finding them you are privileged to spend 1 hour with the Uganda’s star attraction “the gorillas”. After the trek, return to the camp/Lodge and relax for the rest of the afternoon as you enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding area.

DAY 5: Transfer to Kihihi- Entebbe Airport
After breakfast transfer to Kihihi Airstip to catch your Domestic flight back to Entebbe Airport and then a connecting flight back home Or Depending on your arrangement a hotel may be reserved for the Night Journey Time Kihihi- Buhoma or Ruhija-1hour 30 minutes or 2 hours
